Church Security - Physical

National Church Security Through Physical Prevention

We believe that Physical Church Security is best accomplished through prevention.  Contrary to the prevailing attitude in the developing field of church security, we believe that you should not focus most of your energy on ways to handle an active shooting or critical incident.  Instead, we believe you should be prepared to handle emergencies such as shootings or critical incidents, but focus your energy on preventing incidents and accidents from occurring in the first place.

All of our services for maintaining and enhancing physical church security are designed to prevent accidents, injuries, disturbances, disruption and violent events from ever occurring at your church or ministry.

Google Reviews for Church Security through Physical Prevention
"Dan is very knowledgeable and capable of instructing groups with varied levels of experience. He has the skills and expertise to provide valuable insight for those with more experience, while still being able to instruct the basics for those with no previous training. He is able to tailor his training to the needs of the clients to make sure everyone is trained and ready." - Austin W

Comprehensive Church Security Threat Assessment:

James 1:19 says that we should be quick to listen and slow to speak. We at CV Ministries work to practice that in all our interactions with others, including when we are doing an assessment of your church or ministry. In order for us to correctly understand your situation and needs, we listen to you while we are assessing your facilities, personnel practices, policies, procedures, and the practices of those that participate in ministries at your facilities.
  • Meeting with your pastor or CEO and church or ministry leadership so we better understand your church or ministry and how it functions
  • Assessment of your facility/buildings
  • Assessment of existing safety and security practices
  • Assessment of areas or practices that may introduce risk
  • Assessment of policy and procedures
  • Review of any incidents that have occurred
  • Assessment of insurance coverage
  • Far more other aspects to list......
Following the assessment, a comprehensive report will be provided with potential solutions and how CV Ministries can partner with you in the solution process. We work with you in finalizing the report to ensure accuracy and to make practical recommendations that you can implement immediately. Our report size will vary depending on the size of your church or ministry, but is often 25 or more pages of helpful, important information.
