This training is designed for anyone who is directly ministering to people at your church or ministry. Learning and practicing the proper verbal skills to use in a multitude of situations will prevent misunderstandings or conflict from escalating into disruptive situations, and will result in increased safety and security in your church.
The Interview Process: How to approach, talk (using good verbal skills) and assess a variety of situations that may arise.
Additional Topics: Collection and Protection of the Offering; Usher/Greeter Roles; Securing the Children; Armed vs. Unarmed Security Persons.
Saturday: 8 am - 4 pm
Building on what was learned on Friday night, this training will give you the opportunity to gain some new skills and to practice what you have learned. Practicing the skills in the training environment will help you successfully use them in an actual situation.
Defensive Tactics: The ability to physically protect yourself and those around you. To be able to physically take control of a situation, and use force if necessary.
Extractions: How to respond and how to extract someone from your worship center in a quick and efficient manner using the verbal skills and defensive tactics that have been taught.
Breakout Groups: The is where you get to practice some of the skills that you have learned though prepared scenarios and instruction.
Q & A Forum: This is the opportunity for people to ask security questions that they have to help them to do thing better in their ministries.

Dealing with Mental Health Issues (Leakage and Historical Data)
This introductory training is designed to help church or ministry leaders understand mental illness. You will learn to identify people who are struggling individually, or who may be contemplating violence towards others in the church or ministry.
